Leah + Steph

Check out these two...  I love when couples are so comfortable with each other -- it makes the images so easy to create.  I just have to look for the light.  Steph and Leah will be married in September and I'm honored they selected me to shoot their day.  We will rock this.

Jade + Jen

This wedding was a blast from the past for me.  Jenny and I played softball for Mason City High together.  She was an outstanding athlete and I only had wonderful and fun memories of my time with her.  Jen contacted me a year ago and we set up a time for engagement shots in Des Moines, Iowa.  I was so happy when she invited me to shoot their wedding.  I was able to connect with several friends I hadn't seen since moving to Des Moines.

The venue was beautiful and we really lucked out on weather.  We had a gorgeous fall day and I hadn't ever been in Plymouth Congregational Church prior.  What a stunning sanctuary.

I'm so proud of these images and so very thankful to have Jen and Jade in my life.  They are beautiful people but even more beautiful together.  <3

Second Shooting with me was Cassie Tangney of See Tang Design.  Images attributed to her are:  1.  First image, row three \ Row 12, images on left \ Image on Row 27 without my watermark

Melinda + Jennifer

Love surrounded this day.  Jennifer and Melinda were married at the Teachout Building in Des Moines, Iowa.  These two are so lucky to have each other and their families love them to pieces.  We had to dodge the sun and it was a scorching hot day but they were troopers and hauled around Des Moines and didn't mind the heat.

I'm so lucky to be photographing couples who have been together a long time and ready to take the leap.  Here's to Marriage Equality in Iowa.  It sure does feel good to live here.

Thank you, Melinda and Jennifer for choosing me.

Some images below taken by See Tang Design (Cassie Tangney).  Those without my watermark are taken by her or noted within the watermark.

Kassi + Aimee Engagement

I am so excited Kassi and Aimee selected me as their photographer for both their engagement and upcoming wedding.  We had a great time shooting at Easter Lake Park, cruised to Polk County's only covered bridge, and traveled the urban scene of Des Moines.  They were the easiest couple to work with.  Their ease with each other and length of their relationship showed by how comfortable they were tolerating my antics getting them to laugh.

I'm really excited about photographing them at Barnes' Place in Adel this spring!

Cheers to Kassi and Aimee to the next chapter in your lives.
